Nodame Cantabile - the review English version

This is a story of a girl namely Noda Megumi, a student of MOMOGAOKA University (-a music school-) majoring piano. Nodame is a messy-type girl, a way too careless, stupid, lazy, and eat a lot… In short: she’s completely hopeless (but lovely, of-course)*_*.. Nonetheless, she’s got an immense and odd musicality talent (piano), much greater then she realize. Nodame often subjected to lecturer’s anger as she always unbelievably acts weird inside the class, e.g. crying in the middle of exam..

Afterwards, Nodame meets Shinichi Chiaki, her senior in piano major, a son of Japan famous pianist. Unlike Nodame, Chiaki has a brilliant and shiny butt. He’s good at piano and violin both. Even majoring piano, Chiaki dreams to be an orchestra conductor.. His dream come closer to reality when a German Master Conductor Milch come to Japan and assists and guides Chiaki to be a real conductor. Milch also seems to notice Nodame’s unusual talent.. A special orchestra ensemble class is formed after Milch succeed to collect pupils with the same tendency as Nodame.

Another core charas are Ryutaro Mine (M) and Masumi Okuyama (M)–(a.k.a the bird nest—primarily because of his weird frizzy hair) (Frizzy->kribo). Mine is a half talented and a half dull, son of Chinese restaurant owner behind the school. He’s nice, gifted, but almost the same with Nodame: A person with too many Z factors affecting performance. Mine is a concertmaster in Milch’s S special ensemble class. (Concert Master is number one violist who gives a guidance for another strings players (cello-contrabass-viola/violin alto-violin), such as ‘bowing’ guide or little details Conductor missed)). He’s a bit awkward, trying Jimi Hendrix style applied to violin or many other weird styles (even he’s not that good~really!! I must say!)….
Masumi is a frizz-haired guy with a bit of s#xual-confusion. He strangely has got a crush on Chiaki, and competes (with Nodame) to catch Chiaki’s attention.. (However, the manga-writer just uses this for many gag purposes..). A claustrophobic Timpani player,
